We like to think of ourselves as being pretty awesome. Each day we get up, ride scooters and sell Halloween costumes. It’s the job we all wanted to have when we were eight. Because we do something so different, so unique and so fun, we work hard and take a lot of pride in everything we do.

History of BuyFun.com

BuyFun.com started years ago with the discovery of a purple monster hiding inside the Fallenstein’s home in Mankato, MN. The monster imbued the family with a love of Halloween and told them to spread it across the entire world. Armed with nothing but a sewing machine and some serious skills, one of our founders made Halloween costumes for her children every year, but it wasn’t until her kids were grown that the idea of opening a seasonal costume rental shop took hold. Starting in the garage with only a couple dozen costumes, Costumes Galore became a seasonal success in the Mankato, Minnesota area which got bigger and bigger each year.

...And then we took the business online.
Whoa.

We went from a small, family-run business operating out of the garage a couple months a year into a huge, family-run business with over 100 year-round employees and thousands of seasonal employees, operating out of a 200,000 square foot warehouse in less than a decade! Suffice it to say, the monster is pleased.

Receiving Clerk – Help unload semi trailers and count inventory. Must be detail oriented.
Wage – $8.00 / hr
Models – We are currently looking for male and female models in the following sizes for our Halloween costume line: toddler, child, adult, and plus size. If you are outgoing and photogenic, please fill out an application and attach a head shot and a full-body shot.
Wage – $25.00 / hr

Our CEO has been known to scare people while dressed as a Storm Trooper, Nerf darts come sailing over cubicle walls throughout the day and riding scooters is not just encouraged, but a key ingredient to our Shipping department’s high productivity. We’re a company that’s a little different and we like it that way.
